Town Hall Talks is built for minimal data collection. Public users do not create accounts.
Anonymous comments
Public comments are anonymous. We do not store names or emails for public users. The extension generates a random extension ID used for anti-abuse and basic analytics.
B2B accounts
Verified organizations can create accounts (email + password) to claim domains and post official replies.
Claim verification is done using a DNS TXT record: tht-claim=<token>.
Ads
Ads (if any) appear inside the browser extension only. The website is ad-free.
